Jevenn, 5th from the left, did an outstanding job. Kendall and I are so proud of his desire to follow God's leading in his life.

Promotion Day - November 14, 2008 at ALERT. The recruits display drill formations. Can you spot Jevenn? Hint - he is in black pants and white uniform shirt.

Jevenn (second from the right) left August, 2008 for Big Sandy, Texas, where he attended ALERT (Air Land Emergency Response Team) Basic.

I am so grateful to have such a special Great Aunt. Kendall and I, along with our children, always felt welcomed and came away from the visit knowing that she loved us.

Aunt Dorothy related to us on a previous visit that her father did not believe that automobiles would ever replace horses. There was nothing more reliable than a good horse for transportation.
